Early email messages contained a few simple header fields that recorded the sender, the recipient, and the path the message took through one or more intermediate email servers. The headers in this 2005 email message contains additional information that the servers inserted to show that the message had been analyzed and [incorrectly] determined to be legitimate, and the spam was delivered unscathed.
